If you’re not caught up yet, don’t worry because we’ll have recaps in every episode to help refresh your memory before jumping into the new episodes. This season will be full of drama as their kids are all back together again.

The longest-running show will now bow out after 7 seasons and 94 episodes. It has been the longest-running show on Netflix with Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin and being created by NBC’s friend’s showrunner Marta Kauffman.

This season will be full of drama as their kids are all back together again, and the ladies’ romantic partners are not too far behind. A couple of new characters will also appear, one being a younger woman who is eager to start her life over with someone other than Frankie. She may or may not have an ulterior motive!

Synopsis

Grace and Frankie are played by Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. Season seven is the final season of the show with 94 episodes. The series debuted in 2015 on Netflix with a two-hour pilot episode following retired TV executive Lydia (Lily Tomlin) who finds herself newly single after 40 years of marriage to Robert (Sam Waterston), an eccentric former Hollywood producer, also divorced at last. She moves into her sister’s San Francisco home, where she meets her neighbor Charlotte (Jane Fonda). They become fast friends until they discover that their husbands have been engaged in a secret love affair for more than twenty years since their high school days as drama teachers on Long Island.

“This final chapter will reveal truths about these iconic characters’ lives — secrets they’ve never shared before.”

When will the new season release?

We are expecting the new season to be aired next year. With production peaking back in summer 2021.

We will keep updating you as we learn more.

What is the plot of the new season?

The new season will see the women a little older and wiser, still living in their same shamelessly over-the-top lifestyles. Grace (Jane Fonda) is someone who knows what she wants but has long ago thrown away any inhibitions to get it; Frankie (Lily Tomlin) is outspoken and unapologetic about her strident opinions on everything from gender roles to sexuality – which makes for great comedy when they’re together as an unstoppable team of friends with nothing left to lose. The two old broads are now besties for life!
