20th Television is producing the show, which was co-created and written by Martin and John Hoffman based on a concept by Martin. The series is executive produced by Martin, Short, Gomez, Hoffman, Jamie Babbitt, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal.

“Only Murders in the Building demonstrates Hulu Originals’ unique level of creative excellence,” said ABC Entertainment president Craig Erwich.

“Steve, John, and Dan have created a one-of-a-kindly enthralling and amusing series. The audience’s love for the wonderful mix of mystery, humor, and emotion in the show has been tremendous, and we can’t wait to see what happens next with this unlikely trio.”

Our pals at Hulu have treated it like the crown jewel that it is, and our executive producers gushed over how much they love this team’s comedy. “Now, owing to the enormous fan response, we can confirm that there will be even more murders in the building, which is excellent news for everyone except perhaps the Arconia’s residents.”

“We’re so grateful for everyone in our amazing Building who worked with such passion and skill during difficult times, as well as with the support of Disney, Hulu, and 20th TV to produce a first season that could live up to our illustrious cast, beloved New York City, and talk about connection. ” said co-creator and executive producer John Hoffman.

“It’s too thrilling to think that we’ve connected with our audience and hit the mark enough to be allowed to continue the wild ride of mystery-comedy-empathy. So, for now, I’ll keep quiet and simply say a heartfelt thank you to all of you. I’m looking forward to more.”
