The Control Z TV show is coming back for its second season, and it’s going to be better than ever. To prepare you for the release date this fall, we will give you all of the details about what has been announced so far!

There are five episodes in Season One, which have already aired on Hulu. In these first few episodes, there was a big reveal at the end that sends viewers into a frenzy: Control Z is still alive! Unfortunately, he doesn’t seem to remember who they were or why they went rogue, but with your help, by watching every week and tweeting out our hashtag (#ControlZ), maybe together we can figure out his true identity?

We’re not giving anything away just yet because Season Two is still in production, and we want to save the best for last. But you can expect Control Z to get back on his feet with a little help from you!

Control Z Season 2 Release Date:

It shouldn’t be too surprising to hear that there isn’t a release date just yet. Usually, it takes 14-18 months for a Netflix show to drop its next season. We will probably have to wait a little longer than that due to the delays in filming.

Usually, we’d say July 2021 at the earliest for the second season. Now we’re probably looking at the start of 2022 at the earliest.

The Plot of Control Z Season Two:

The season starts where we last left the team, with Max and Rhoda in a car crash. It’s unclear who is driving and what happened to the other person, but they are both injured from the accident. They wake up at a hospital over; three months later, on February 13th (the time frame for this episode also syncs up with our own calendar). We get teased; about how someone was following them before their car crashed; into an electrical pole. So there may still be somebody out there! Neither one can remember anything that happened after leaving work at Control Z headquarters or even how they got inside it to do that job! Max has some additional amnesia as a result of the accident, but he does vaguely remember a man named “Satan,” who is mentioned in one of his old notebooks.

They decide to go there and see if they can find anything out – it’s now their only lead for what happened three months ago! Max remembers that Control Z HQ was closed down after something bad went down with some power brokers from the East Coast (he doesn’t seem to know exactly what), so you think this may be related?

It turns out that Control Z headquarters has been taken over by squatters since it shuttered operations in October 2018. The building is more than half-empty as people have looted everything valuable left behind. After befriending some kids living on the property, they eventually find the room where Max and his partner conducted their experiments. They start to search through it – a little too much for some of the squatters, who immediately leave in disgust.”

Synopsis:

Finally, it’s all about what to expect in the second season. With the way things ended in season 1, there are a lot of questions. Javier was shot, and we have no idea if he’ll survive. Luis never woke up from his coma, leading to Gerry almost killing himself. In the end, Gerry went after Raul when Sofia released the news that Raul was the hacker.

Raul managed to leak all the secrets his classmates had been hiding. Everyone turned on each other instead of putting the focus on catching Raul, who was responsible for everything.
