As an elderly Navajo male, he is also obsessed with destiny, or kataasati’nii, which are ancient teachings that help guide life directions through dreamers and shamans who can see into the spirit world. His mission is to stop the people from destroying their destiny by building a railway through Dinetah village.

Would you recommend watching this?

Yes. It is a good story that is very culturally relevant to the Navajo people. The movie was filmed on the Navajo Nation reservation and it gives an authentic depiction of the landscape and scenery of the area. The film also incorporates a lot of Navajo cultures, traditions, and language in-between scenes and as a key plot line to the story itself. Thanks for reading!
