Rutherford Falls Season 2 : Trailer shows that big changes are coming in the small town .

Nathan Rutherford is a 42-year-old pharmacist from Rutherford Falls, Oregon. He has been single for 18 years and hasn’t pursued any other relationships during this time. That is until he meets Reagan Wells. Reagan Wells is a 24-year-old single mother of two daughters named Lexi and Zoey. Reagan was born in Rutherford Falls to the owner of the town’s hardware store and grew up in the small town before moving away at 18 to pursue a career as an artist in Los Angeles where she met her husband Rick when she was 24 years old.

What is the plot of the story?

Nathan and Reagan are best friends and old high school classmates who have been helping each other through their lives. Nathan lost his wife in a car accident three years earlier, and Reagan has been unwavering support for her friend through it all. It all comes crashing down when Nathan discovers that Reagan’s husband (to who she was very close) was murdered behind their backs. The two friends bonded over grieving and loneliness, but now that tragedy has struck, the two struggle with how to move forward with their lives.

What are the themes?

The major themes of the show are heartbreak, hope, and new beginnings. Some major subthemes are family, love, forgiveness, and friendship. Nathan and Reagan’s friendship is tested during their first real conversation about the husband(s) that both of them loved, Reagan’s relationship with her baby daddy, her marriage to Rick, and whether or not Nathan is being paranoid.

Who is the antagonist? What are its motives?

The show does not have a true antagonist. There is no one villain that Nathan and Reagan have to defeat. The only real antagonist that appears on the show is Rick’s killer(s). There were two epic scenes in the series. The first epic scene is when Nathan Rutherford looks into police reports and discovers, much to his shock, that Reagan’s husband was murdered. The second one is when Reagan, asked by Nathan to pick up their daughters from school while he went to a medical appointment, heard from a random stranger that there was a man seen near the Rutherford house before her husband died.

Who is the most loved character?

The most loved character was Nathan Rutherford. The reason why the audience did not want the character to die was that they liked him. He is loyal, caring, and kind-hearted. He keeps his cool when his world is shaken, and he remains a doctor of pharmacy rather than a doctor of doom. His relationship with Reagan is like that of how brothers should be – very close and loving even though one has been through much tragedy in their lives.

Would you recommend watching this?

Yes. I would recommend this show because it is good for the whole family. There is no real bad language, no sexual situations, and no real adult situations in general. It has a lot of suspense and drama, which makes it very entertaining for a viewer to watch, but it also has some reality-based issues that make the show relatable and easy to follow. Thanks for reading!
