Fox Renews MasterChef Season 12! Know All The Latest Updates

Masterchef season 12 is coming to FOX! The Emmy Award-winning cooking competition returns for a 12th season, with an all-star cast of judges. Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich, and Aarón Sánchez will once again be presiding over the kitchen as they search for America’s next great chef. Look out, foodies; this show has been renewed!

Chef Gordon Ramsay will be returning to MasterChef with fellow judges Aarón Sánchez and Joe Bastianich for the game show’s 12th season. Fox announced Wednesday that, after airing Chef Ramsay’s last episode on Monday evening, it had renewed its hit cooking competition series, produced by Endemol Shine North America and One Potato Two Potato.

“Fox’s decision to cancel the show comes less than two months after it reabsorbed former sibling company Shines into its network,” said TV industry news site The Hollywood Reporter. “With future seasons of MasterChef currently planned, Fox would be in breach of an obligation to output 130 hours of programming per year.”

Fox has been named the #1 broadcast network on six of eight Wednesdays during this summer’s airing of MasterChef and Crime Scene Kitchen together.

New episodes of MasterChef: Legends air on Fox at 8 PM ET/PT tonight, with Ramsay challenging the home cooks to create a dish for their own personal legend. Throughout the season and joined by legendary chefs throughout, judges Sánchez and Bastianich, as well as Ramsay, act as guest judges.

The Fox television show MasterChef features chefs of various levels. Dominique Crenn, Niki Nakayama, and other talented members comprise the upcoming season 12 lineup.

At the end of each episode, one home cook distinguishes himself or herself from a group of equally skilled competitors by winning a cutthroat challenge with his or her signature dish; this person advances to the next stage in pursuit of the $250,000 grand prize.

In addition to MasterChef, Ramsay also hosts and produces Hell’s Kitchen, Masterchef Junior, Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours To Hell And Back, as well as specials including 2021’s Gordon Ramsay’s American Road Trip.

Gordon Ramsay’s latest production venture, Studio Ramsay Global, has been launched in partnership with Fox Entertainment. “Ramsay and Fox Entertainment recently announced their new Studio Ramsay Global to create, develop, produce, and distribute unscripted movies and television programming for the Fox broadcasting network.”
