“I would say I’ve been really blessed by fate,” Salma told Deadline back on set during an interview for “Eternal.” “To get such strong roles when my children are teenagers? It’s very, very special.”

The project marks Salma’s first major acting gig since starring alongside Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, and Johnny Depp in 2017’s “The Hitman’s Bodyguard.” Salma is also a producer on the film, which follows an ancient group of vampires who are hunted down for sport.

“It was very difficult to shoot,” Salma told Deadline about her time with Angelina Jolie on set.
