What is the plot? and about the film!
This is an article about how Hosada will be releasing a sci-fi film in Japan this year, based on the story of time travel and body swapping in the future. After a bad car accident, high schoolers Mitsuha and Taki unwittingly find themselves switching lives. At first, they just think the other’s life is more glamorous than their own–Mitsuha with her successful businessman father, who understands her feelings, while Taki stumbles through school as an outcast due to his family situation.
