The Rick and Morty movie is coming! As the release date approaches, more information about the movie becomes available. Details about the plot have been revealed, as well as who will be in it and what they are doing. Rumours of artists being involved with the film have also surfaced on Twitter. Rick and Morty Summary:

We now know a little bit more about the upcoming R&M Movie called “Rickmancing The Stone” or “Rick Stories.” For those not caught up to season four of Rick & Morty here is some back story for you (in case your memory needs refreshing). In episode one of season four Rick hijacks a supply ship and crashes it on an unknown planet. The survivors of the crash are living in makeshift shelters when they find out that their food stocks have been poisoned by Rick who is actually trying to keep them alive because he needs people for his experiments.

Rick Stories will follow what happens after this incident with certain members of society, specifically those from law enforcement and military, splitting off into groups fighting each other over control of resources while others try to restore peace among all the chaos.

This is when Rick becomes more than just one mad scientist going from a crazy idea to another without any regard for consequences; instead, Rick now has something worth living for – his family. The two leave in search of Jerry and Summer as well as what could be their last bits of food. They find out that everyone on Earth has suddenly come into telepathic contact with each other through an alien probe that was trying to establish peace among humans but most people Rick and Morty are then abducted by a horde of aliens. Rick is unwilling to leave without his family, so he builds an escape pod out of the fridge while Jerry has been left in charge of taking care of Summer.

There has been no official announcement about the cast or director yet but rumours have surfaced suggesting that Seth Rogen may be directing Rick & Morty’s first live-action film.

One fan tweeted asking how much of the movie was animated and a Rick & Morty staffer replied saying that it would be mostly live-action with some animation.

Rick (voiced by Justin Roiland) and Morty (also voiced by Justin Roiland) are the only ones; left at home, where they were waiting for Jerry; to pick up some more food; from a distribution centre; that has been closed down; due to being robbed; of all its resources weeks ago.
