Plot Details:

We’ll have to wait until next year or later 2020 when filming wraps up, but some rumours suggest this will be an origin story with John meeting Sofia Valesi as she trains him how to use different weapons – including firearms, knives, and hand-to-hand combat – much like he did in comic books which were based on earlier movies set in Russia. He then gets framed for something he didn’t do and had to fight his way through European cities before taking on The Director in Japan.

John’s daughter, Daisy, will also show up as she is John’s weakness, and Sofia might be one of her assassins, but it has not been confirmed if Daisy survives or dies at this point.

The Director should still be the last boss you’ll see, so don’t worry about feeling like there are too many villains!

Filling the May 2021 gap left by “Chapter 4” will be “Spiral,” the “Saw” reboot that the studio originally dated for May 15, 2020. “Spiral” will now open on May 21, 2021. The Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson sequel “The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard” is also being pushed back a year from August 2020 to August 20, 2021.
