Marvel just dropped Captain Marvel 2: Official Trailer. It is a great time to be a Marvel fan as we get closer and closer to Captain Marvel’s release date on March 8th! In this article, I will give you all of the information that you need about Captain Marvel 2, including plot, cast updates, spoilers, and more. Captain Marvel:

Captain Marvel is a 2019 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Carol Danvers. The screenplay was written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Jac Schaeffer, with Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck serving as directors. It stars Brie Larson in the title role, alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan portray supporting roles. Set in 1995 (six years before Iron Man), it follows Danvers as she becomes Captain Marvel after Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are all but obliterated during an intergalactic battle between her mentor Nick Fury and his nemesis Ronan the Accuser.

Just like they did for Captain Marvel, Disney has yet to announce the official title for its upcoming sequel. But that hasn’t stopped fans from making their guesses and predictions about what it could be!

Title Speculations:

I think a fitting name would be “Captain Marvel: The Resistance,” in honour of Carol Danvers’ backstory as an Air Force pilot who found herself on Earth fighting against her former mentor turned enemy Ronan’s Kree empire. However, many people believe that this is too similar to Star Wars Episode VII – Rogue One (also known as “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”). I’m more inclined towards Captain Marvel II: Goddess of Thunder or Captain Marvel III: Dark Reign; both are very creative names that pay homage to some major moments in the comics series.

The Plot of Captain Marvel Sequel:

Carol Danvers, who is now known to be Captain Marvel. And played by Larson; in her first MCU film, she was just introduced into the world. Now she has some responsibility; on her shoulders. Not only for Earth but also for a big chunk of the galaxy. Which could include Asgard! If this is true, then it would take place after Avengers: Endgame. So there will need to be some time jump. It might also have to do with Captain Marvel’s brain because she seems to have lost her memory due to an accident. This would make it possible for the sequel film to be about Carol Danvers finding out who she is and what has happened in that time period.

The Release Date of Captain Marvel Sequel:

It is speculated that the Captain Marvel Sequel is set to release on 8th July 2022.

Captain Marvel was released in March 2019, so we could see a release date for Captain Marvel II by 2022 at the latest! The spin-off films will most likely come after this one rather than before as they are more like side stories… but don’t count them out entirely! They may still happen if there any characters left over from Avengers Endgame that needs their story told.

The titles of Captain Marvel II and Captain Marvel III are still not confirmed however, there have been some hints dropped about what they may be called.

Some people think that Captain Marvel Sequel will be called “Ms.” or “Captain America: Ms.,” which could either mean that Carol Danvers takes up this mantle after Steve Rogers (a name she used in her past) retires from it or something else entirely!

There are also theories swirling around about how Chris Pine might make a cameo as an older version of himself in the sequel if he isn’t killed off by Thanos’ snap at the end of Avengers Endgame. We know for sure that Jude Law will be playing Captain Marvel’s new mentor, Doctor Walter Lawson.
