Fast forward to January 2022, a third installment was greenlit and confirmed, featuring Denzel Washington reprising his lead role. Dakota Fanning’s casting was announced in June 2022, and by November of the same year, Sonia Ben Ammar, Andrea Dodero, Remo Girone, Eugenio Mastrandrea, Daniele Perrone, Andrea Scarduzio, and Gaia Scodellaro were also revealed to be joining the cast.

On October 10, 2022, principal photography began on Italy’s Amalfi Coast for an upcoming film.
