Harper. A veteran officer in his late sixties, Harold P. Harper (52) retired as an assistant director at the FBI when he was 43, receiving a citation that stated, “Harold displayed extraordinary courage and met his responsibilities with utmost diligence and dedication.” He is a trained sniper and served time in North Vietnam after the war.

The antagonist is a wanted assassin named Henry Marshall Vermalen (Hank). (43) He is a lethal killing machine who once worked for the CIA, but was forced out after he assaulted his first wife. He opts to freelance his services and the CIA hires him in return to eliminate Chase once and for all. Epic scenes include: Chase fending off an assassination attempt and finding out who wants him dead; the extraction of Harriet Ringer, his former handler and a vicious senior officer in clandestine operations; Harper going against orders to take Chase into protective custody.

Who is the most loved character ?

The most loved character is Chase, who is a CIA officer and Harper’s former partner in the clandestine service. Vermalen kills mercilessly, but his cold blooded ruthlessness pales in comparison to that of Lloyd, a CIA deputy director who will stop at nothing to cover up his crimes and prevent anything from possibly linking him to any of his dealings with Chase – even if it means letting an old friend get killed. (Harper) because he got out at the right time. He gets secret instructions from Harper to go after Chase and kill him, even if he’s on US soil.

Would you recommend watching this ?

Yes. This is a very complex film and has many different layers to it. A good read as it is, but if you are looking for action then look elsewhere. It’s about a CIA agent who isn’t afraid to spill the beans about what goes on behind the scenes. Thanks for reading !
