It appears that we’re nearing the end of Ozark Season 4’s long road. The series was initially scheduled to premiere in 2021, but the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic delayed it. While a premiere date for Ozark Season 4 is yet to be announced, actress Julia Garner says it shouldn’t be much longer. Here’s everything we know so far:

Ozark Season 4 Filming Details:

In June 2020, Ozark was renewed for a fourth and final season, about three months after the third season launched on Netflix. It will be split into two parts, each with seven episodes. Season 4 is expected to begin production in November 2020.

Since then, the cast and crew have been seen filming in various parts of Georgia, which will serve as the show’s backdrop. Osage Beach, Missouri, is where the tale takes place. The most recent sighting occurred in July when Bateman was observed walking with a woman who is thought to be Laura Linney, who plays his spouse Wendy on the program.

What Julia Garner Has To Say About Ozark Season 4?

In the “W Magazine” interview, Garner discussed season four of Ozark. The actor, who portrays Ruth Langmore on the program, stated that filming has not yet ended and will wrap up in October.

There hasn’t been much information about Season 4 of Ozark thus far, but Julia Garner has spilled the beans! She told TV Line in a recent interview that “season four is going to be really tumultuous.”

In the interview, she also spoke about filming in actual locations rather than just on a set. It sounds like this season will have a lot more difficult terrain to cross. Garner rounded up her interview by complimenting the show as being “a fantastic program” and proclaiming her anticipation for its release.

Keep in mind that the series will have to go through several more phases before resuming; thus, it’s quite possible Ozark Season 4 will premiere in early 2022. But Garner didn’t provide a clear answer.

“I’m sad to hear Ozark is ending,” she added. “It was my first significant part and one of the most cherished moments in my career. However, I’m also looking forward to moving on to other things after nearly four years on the show. “Maybe a period drama since I’ve never done one before,” she mused for People magazine.

Ozark Season 4 More Details:

Ozark Season 3 took things to a new level for the Byrde family, which has been through a lot in recent years. Marty had wanted to come up with an exit strategy, but by the end of the season, he and Wendy were working closer than ever with Omar Navarro. Not to mention that they now have a new adversary in Ruth since she’s joined Darlene Snell at Moats.

Chris Mundy, showrunner for Season 4, told Deadline, “I think for all of it, Marty and Wendy will be on the same page for the first time.” Ruth is going to be in strong opposition to them at this point. Everyone’s going to have to figure out what they want their life to be.

“I think people are going to be able to make decisions for the first time and not just react to the craziness that is all around them,” Mundy added. “So we think the conclusion of the program has been set up properly. But hopefully, it’s something that causes you to be constantly surprised as you go through it.”
