Dickinson, the critically acclaimed Apple Original comedy series, will make its global debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, November 5, 2021. The third season of “Dickinson,” created, written, and executive produced by Alena Smith, who also makes her directorial debut, and stars Academy Award-nominee Hailee Steinfeld (who also executive produces), will premiere with the first three episodes 5 November before continuing weekly every Friday through December 24th, 2021.

In a recent interview, Alena Smith addressed the following updates regarding the upcoming season of the Dickinson. We originally planned for the series to be a three-season tale that would tell America’s most important female poet’s birth story in a new light, emphasizing her significance and relevance to our culture now.

Hailee and I could never have anticipated how much this show would make me money or how exciting the process of telling Emily’s story with Hailee, our fantastic, energetic cast and crew would be.

We are overjoyed to be able to share our spectacular final season with the rest of the world, and I can’t wait to take our viewers along for the ride as Emily battles for personal poetic truth while addressing so many of today’s challenges.

Apple has also reached overall agreements with well-known and acclaimed producers A24 and Imagine Documentaries, as well as reputable kids and family entertainment outlets, including Sesame Workshop and Peanuts.

Following its worldwide premiere, Dickinson has won a Peabody Award and a GLAAD Media Award nomination in its first season, and Hailee Steinfeld was just nominated by the Hollywood Critics Association for the inaugural HCA TV Awards in the Best Actress in a Streaming Series, Comedy category.
