Actor Tony Curran is set to star as the villain “Despero” in The Flash Season 8! Tony will be joining the cast alongside other actors such as Tom Cavanagh, Jesse Martin, and Carlos Valdes. Tony Curran has been a success on both stage and screen for many years with notable roles including Dracula in Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Lenny Bruce in I’m Dying Up Here.

He has also appeared on Game of Thrones where he played Mero, one of Daenerys Targaryen’s Dothraki blood riders. Tony was also at one point attached to play Kilgrave (AKA Purple Man) in Netflix’s Jessica Jones before being replaced by David Tennant due to scheduling conflicts.
