When Is “The Letter for the King Season 2” Coming Out?
We’re still waiting for the release date of The Letter for the King season 2, but we know it is coming. The first season of this show was really good, and there’s no way they would cancel such a popular series! Who knows how long we’ll have to wait? But we hope that the release date will be announced soon so we can start counting down!
Letter For The King Season 2 Renewal Details
The second season of The Letter for the King has not yet been commissioned by Netflix. If Netflix follows its typical renewal/cancellation procedure, a formal decision was made around three to six weeks after the March 20, 2020, premiere date. The Letter for the King season 1 has been criticized by critics, but the fantasy element may help Netflix subscribers like it.

If Netflix renews The Letter for the King for a second season, filming may begin later in the year for six additional episodes. A second season is expected to premiere in 2022 if there are no major scheduling conflicts.

Given the breadth of the project (aside from all of this, there could be delays owing to the coronavirus outbreak), Netflix may need a little more time than usual. The release of The King’s Letter in Japan and the beginning of a second season are both anticipated for the latter half of 2022, if not early, then maybe 2023.
Letter For The King Season 2 Plot Synopsis:
The first season of The Letter for the King comes to a close, with Tiuri delivering King Favian the bad news. The arrival of the second purple menace has only increased Prince Viridian’s confidence, but he remains cool as a cucumber and is laying low.
The moon is the missing element from the rest of mankind’s dark descent into hell. As a result, he must be reborn as it rises. He dies at his own hands and is re-born as the blood moon rises. Fortunately, Lavinia’s abilities are too much for him to handle, and darkness is overcome by light.
Tiuri and his companions are officially knighted, even young Piak (Nathanael Saleh), while the remnants of the crew return to Dagonaut as heroes. Meanwhile, Iona (Thaddea Graham) rides off into the sunset with Jaro, her former lover.
The birds have formed a beautiful pattern, which appears to be none other than Prince Viridian’s darkness, in the closing moments of The Letter for the King season 1.
The Letter for the King season 2 may stick to the franchise’s source material, according to Tonke Dragt, who revealed The Secrets of the Wild Wood not long after De brief Voor de Koning was published in 1962.
