Netflix has recently released its latest thriller, Open Your Eyes. This is a movie that will keep your heart racing for the entirety of its runtime. In this review, we’ll go over what it’s like to watch this Netflix original movie!
The Movie Review: Is It Worth Watching Or You Should Skit It?
We open on a young woman who is sleeping fitfully; we hear her screams in our head. She wakes up suddenly.
Although the girl (Maria Wawreniuk) had no recollection of who she was, waking up to an alarm as told her that she is the daughter of parents who died in a fire. In Netflix’s production, “Open Your Eyes,” the 17-year old protagonist does not know her name, and her birthday is February 6.
She’s told that her mother used to tell her that she would lose all of her teeth if she didn’t brush them. For now, she is only known by the initials ‘NN’ (as No Name) and, she has been there for four days.
As she makes her way around the massive building, she sees another patient that looks her age dancing. Soon other patients join in; all of them have been staying at the Second Chance memory center for a while. Iza, a very friendly and outgoing patient with pink hair, is particularly chatty about what they can expect.

Therapy at the center with its director, Dr. Zofia Morulska, mostly consists of her asking questions to draw information out of the patient rather than sharing any herself. Memory cultivation is not instantaneous and can be a slow process, but Iza also explains that it has been seen to help with memory.
While with Dr. Zofia, NN remembers that her dad told her to hold hot mugs by the handle and recalls what the woman who looked like looks like but can’t remember what she is called. Dr. Zofia quickly retrieves a crazed patient named Magda from running away through the woods.

When NN wakes up the next morning, someone calls out for a Karolina. When asking her doctor if that’s what her name is, she said that when you remember your name, it feels like an unquestionable fact. The girl hears horrible piano music and soon learns that the musician is a former student of hers named Adam, who ran away not long ago.
NN eventually meets Adam inside the center’s auditorium after she chases an orphan girl. She simultaneously discovers that she has gotten better at the piano and that when Adam asks her what her name is, “Julia” comes out like it never slipped away from her mind.
Though its visual style stands out and the performances are strong, we aren’t sure exactly what kind of show Open Your Eyes is. You should definitely stream it!
