Robert Rodriguez Has Signed A first-look deal With HBO max for new series!

Robert Rodriguez, the acclaimed filmmaker, and producer of such films as Spy Kids, Machete, Sin City, and El Mariachi, has signed a first-look deal with HBO max for new series! Robert will be developing projects exclusively for the premium cable network. Robert’s production company will produce scripted content that he’ll work on alongside other writers or showrunners to create a compelling story. We’re excited to see what Robert does next!

About Robert Rodriguez

Robert Rodriguez is an Academy-Award nominated film producer, director, and screenwriter. Robert’s films include Spy Kids (2001), Sin City (2005), Machete (2010) El Mariachi (1992).

Robert was born in San Antonio, Texas, and he now resides on a ranch near Austin. The Director is well known for his productions of low-budget action films; that are stylishly shot with an emphasis on practical effects.

He has directed some of the most successful films; of all time, including Sin City, Desperado, Once Upon A Time In Mexico, From Dusk Till Dawn, El Mariachi; as well as Spy Kids (the threequel was released just last week!), Alita: Battle Angel and many more. He also founded his own production company, called Robert Rodriquez Productions that focuses on producing Latino content; across film and TV.
