Netflix has a new original movie coming out very soon, and the company is gearing up for its release. The newest comedy, Your Place or Mine?, will be available to stream on Netflix soon enough. This will be the latest in a long string of releases from Netflix’s library – there are over 700 titles that can be streamed by subscribers around the world right now! Here’s the latest update:

Netflix has announced that Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon will star in the upcoming Netflix original Your Place or Mine. It is written by Aline Brosh McKenna and will be her directorial debut of the project.

Streaming service Netflix officially announced this week that they would be bringing a dramedy movie about two friends swapping homes.

Kutcher will star in Netflix’s romantic comedy, Your Place or Mine. This is the first role for Kutcher, who starred in comedies such as  New Year’s Eve and No Strings Attached since 2011.

Witherspoon is not new to playing the female romantic lead on the silver screen. Previous comedic roles of hers include Sweet Home Alabama, Legally Blonde franchise, and This Means War.

But in recent years, she has also played a more dramatic role in HBO’s  Big Little Lies, Apple TV+’s Morning Show, and Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere.

Meanwhile, McKenna is the writer and producer for the CW musical series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend as well as iconic comedies 27 Dresses, and The Devil Wears Prada. She has never directed a film before, but it will be interesting to see what new creative ideas she’ll put into the final product.

Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan have announced that they are producing a new Netflix series with Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter in partnership with those from Hello Sunshine, who will also produce the show. Details about the release date have not been released yet.
