The first season of the anime doesn’t conclude the entire story and leaves fans wanting more. For 13 years, viewers have asked for a sequel to be made by the creator but they refuse to comment. There has been no news concerning a release date for Claymore Season 2. It may not be possible anymore due to so many years passing by.

Claymore Season 2 Plot Details:

The Claymore anime was based on a manga of the same name. The series first began serialization back in May 2007 and ran for about seven years, ending in 2014 with 27 different volumes that totaled 154 chapters.

Claymore season 2 is based on one-third of the manga, not half. There are still a hundred more chapters from which to base another anime installment.

Claymore Season 2 Premiere Details:

The manga and anime series became very popular, developing a large following. The show has lots of fans, as evidenced by its popularity ranking on MyAnimeList (220).

The success of the manga seems to have been a major motivating factor in producing Claymore’s anime adaptation, and this was bolstered by the show’s popularity with viewers.

However, despite being successful enough to warrant renewal, the series never received another season due to an extended hiatus that is unlikely ever to be finished.
