Titans Recap – What Happened With The First Two Seasons?
The origins of Teen Titans is rooted deep within DC Comics lore dating back to 1964 as young heroes band in the early 1960s. The original Titans consisted of Robin, Wonder Girl, Aqualad and Kid Flash; the team was a successor to Batman’s Outsiders club from issues #22-34 (1980) in which members were selected based on being ‘outcasts’ that lacked superpowers but possessed skill or knowledge otherwise unavailable to superheroes at the time.
The next season will focus on Dick Grayson’s relationship with villains like Deathstroke. In Titans Season two, the Titans went up against a dark new enemy: Theo Galavan, aka Mr Freeze. In that battle, they lost one of their own and got led to believe Dick Grayson was killed by Victor Stone’s blast from his Power Battery gone wrong. But it turns out he survived! And in season three we’ll see him return with all-new powers after he spent months being experimented on and tortured by mad scientists at Narrows Asylum for the Criminally Insane before finally escaping when an earthquake shook the walls down around him!
Titans Season 3 Star Cast
In the new season of Titans, Robin will be joined by two other vigilantes in the form of Hawk and Dove. In Season One, Raven was not only a lone vigilante but she also had no powers whatsoever so it is great to see her join forces with these two! The three heroes have many different backgrounds which makes them interesting as well as formidable against their enemies. It should make for an exciting team dynamic when they work together both individually and collaboratively. This may help bring about some resolution between Raven’s present-day self and her past selves because there are still so many unanswered questions left over from previous seasons that need answering. These include why did Trigon turn his daughter into one of his servants?
Who can we expect to see as the villain?
Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke
The H.I.V.E. Five, a supervillain team of five teenage geniuses who are the Titans’ arch-nemesis.
Plot Synopsis for Season 3
At the end of Season Two, Titans has a new ally in Raven (played by Teagan Croft). The team is now more united and stronger than ever. Together they are ready to take on anyone who stands against them. But what will happen when Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke returns? He promises revenge against each Titan for their role in his son’s death so he’ll stop at nothing to destroy them one-by-one . . .”
