Stranger Things Season 4 Release Date Speculations:

Stranger Things Season four is expected to premiere in late 2022. The showrunners, brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, have also confirmed that this season will be bigger than any other Stranger Things seasons before it. All episodes of the new season will reportedly last 90 minutes each – a time frame that would give young children enough time for bedtime stories!

At the shortest, there will be a four-month gap between when filming ends and Stranger Things Season 4 is released. And at longest, quite a bit longer than that. So, unfortunately, it’s unlikely that we’ll see the release of Season 4 anytime before late 2021 at the earliest, and it’s more likely that Stranger Things Season 4 will be released sometime in the first half of 2022.

What Will Happen In Stranger Things Season Four?

In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, they said, “Season three was really about identity: Who am I? What defines me?” Now that we’ve answered those questions pretty definitively as far as our kids are concerned — at least in terms of their relationships with one another and who they are vis-à-vis their friends and the end of the third season, we know Joyce has fully embraced her mom-ness, and Hopper is out as Hawkins’ sheriff.

While Netflix certainly isn’t forthcoming with spoilers for any future episodes in their original content lineup — they’ve been known to be tight-lipped about what’s going on with their flagship series even before a new season gets released — there are some hints fans can glean from that first trailer which aired during Super Bowl LIII this past Sunday night. It looks like not only will Eleven finally return, but she may have brought back someone else who was also lost too. One person who seems quite happy to see him again is Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), who’s seen leaping into the arms of a man in a hazmat suit.

The Star Cast for Stranger Things Season 4:

The entire main ensemble from Stranger Things 3 is set to return for Stranger Things 4, which includes Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, and Maya Hawke.

Additionally, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, and Brett Gelman have been promoted to series regulars for Stranger Things Season 4. And the new season will also see the return of Matthew Modine as Martin Brenner, as confirmed in the second teaser trailer.

The Plot for Stranger Things Season Four:

Stranger things season four is set in the summer of 1985, a year after Will’s return. A game called “Sister and Brother” will be introduced; to Hawkins Middle School; via an assembly, at which the new principal, Robin; doesn’t attend; because she has other plans. On top of that, you can see Mike Wheeler; (Finn Wolfhard), who’s seen leaping; into the arms of a man; in a hazmat suit; before running off with Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). This confirms her survival from last season–though we don’t know much more than that yet about what else might have happened to her while gone. And Dustin Henderson  (Gaten Matarazzo) gets his first bike, which he names “Lemongrab.”

Is there a trailer or teaser for Stranger Things Season 4?

There is not a trailer or tease yet for Stranger Things Season four.  But there are so many different speculations about what might happen in the next season, with some of these speculations being that we’ll see Eleven’s backstory and find out more about her time at the lab. Others say Hopper will be back on good terms with Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder), but maybe he won’t have any kids anymore? Other popular theories include Will coming back from The Upside Down and people finding out who really died to save him–with most people saying it was actually Eleven herself!

Can we expect to see some new faces in Season 4 of the show?

Meredith Hagner will be playing the character of Heather, a new student at Nancy Wheeler’s (Natalia Dyer) high school. Other than that, we won’t know more until Stranger Things Season four comes out!
