Riverdale is back! That’s right, Season 6 of Riverdale is finally here, and we have the inside scoop on what to expect.

A new plot with Hiram Lodge, Jughead’s mom being a Serpent member, Betty Cooper, and Polly Cooper getting. What is the secret organization that has been following Archie Andrews? Who shot Fred Andrews and why? And what does Penny Peabody want to do with Veronica Lodge?

Claiming that she is the rightful heir to Riverdale, Penelope Peabody has targeted Veronica Lodge as her next victim.

In a new scheme to take down Archie’s girlfriend and seize control of the town for herself, Penny has been stealing all of Fred Andrews’ business deals for his company in order to bankrupt him and gain control of the company.

This season has had a new vision for what’s to come in this town, including Hiram Lodge finally taking his place as Riverdale’s most powerful resident and Archie Andrews considering joining the family business after he graduates high school.

In addition: Jughead Jones is now running away from home, Betty Cooper has gone dark and is working on solving the mystery of her own family, Cheryl Blossom has been sent to a new school for troubled youth after her father’s arrest, Josie McCoy is now running the music program at Riverdale High School while still trying to get over her heartbreak from last season.

“Claiming that she is the rightful heir of the Blossom fortune and demanding that she be reinstated into her family’s will…an idea which does not sit well with Cheryl.”

Synopsis

Archie is living in a new world as he moves on to life after high school. Betty’s family problems are resurfacing, and Veronica Lodge has now joined the ranks of Riverdale’s most powerful residents during her father Hiram Lodge’s absence. The gang must deal with these changes while trying to solve the mystery that was left behind by season five ‘s finale.

Riverdale: Season Six

Josie McCoy, the daughter of F.P., a founding member of The River Vixens and Archie’s first love interest, is now running the music program at Riverdale High School while still trying to get over her heartbreak from last season. With Veronica Lodge back in town, she has decided to shake things up in Riverdale and is running for mayor against Hermione Lodge.

Betty Cooper, Archie’s first love interest and the only girl who can rival Veronica (but not by much), has had a rough season as her family life continues to be out of control while trying to solve Jason Blossom’s murder that happened two seasons ago.

Veronica Lodge, Queen Bee of Riverdale, is doing her best to shake things up, and she has had to help from Jughead Jones, who is now running the school newspaper with Betty Cooper’s blessing (or at least acceptance). Veronica might be a bit too busy for Archie, though, as he continues his music career in New York City.

Release Date

It is possible that it could be released sometime in 2021.

Season Six of Riverdale is in full swing, and the cast and crew are doing everything they can to keep us riveted. With a bit of pressure now that showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa left for greener pastures at Netflix, we’re anxious to see how things will go on this season without him.
