What is the plot of “Better Things Season 5”?

The fifth and final season of “Better Things” is Sam’s last chance to live the life she always wanted. But a person can only change so much, which means that old habits die hard when it comes to her relationships with people who are important in her life – like Maxine, Duke, and Frankie. As she struggles to find happiness on her own terms for once, Sam has one more surprise left: One day, Joe walks back into her life as if he never really left at all.

In Better Things Season Five, we’ll see what happens after Samantha finally gets everything she wants – two full-time jobs (one at home) and an independent business venture running out of their house – but realizes there’s still something missing.

The final season of “Better Things” will grapple with the idea that maybe it’s time to finally start saying goodbye, not just for her own sake but also for the sake of those she loves most. Sam sees one last chance at happiness in Joe (Pablo Schreiber) and starts to get her life back on track by following a few simple rules: Live better, work harder, and love more – as hard as you can until there’s nothing left. But is there such thing as too much?
