When will James Bond’s No Time To Die release on the big screens?

Bond 25 was initially scheduled to be released on 3rd April 2020 in the UK and 8th April in the USA.

The film’s official Twitter account then released the shock news that No Time To Die would be postponed until November 2020, on account of the coronavirus outbreak.

It was then delayed until 2nd April 2021, and then for a third time to its current international release date of 8th October 2021.

However, in February 2021, UK fans were treated to some good news when announced the film would be released a week early on these shores, hitting cinema screens on 30th September 2021.

Rumors:

In the meantime, there have been rumours of No Time To Die spin-offs. In January 2021, it was reported; that Sony Pictures; were considering a prequel, starring Daniel Craig as James Bond; in his youth. But this has yet to be confirmed. And it is still just speculation, for now.

Nice news; came from Hollywood film; company MGM; who announced; they would be released; an animated series; on Fox Kids Network entitled “James Bond Jr” about “the adventures of 12-year-old super-spy James Bond (Agent Double X) with gadgets; such as a laser watch, jet pack and underwater gear.” The show will air; in fall 2021, when no time to die finally comes out!

In another rumour, it was announced; that James Bond Jr will be released; with the new movie; when it comes out. It is set to air in fall 2021 at an unknown time slot, yet this show has been updated; to include its own spinoffs, following other classic characters, such as Pussy Galore, Dr. Julius No, and even Jaws; of all people! Story Details:

No time to die is set in Colombia, which has been at war with neighbouring Panama for decades. Set between 1921 and 1940, it follows James Bond (Agent 0012), who must stop his former ally Felix Leiter from overthrowing General Pedro Alcantara’s regime with help from one of his old friends Maximilian Ostrovsky and Tatiana Romanova. MI-13 start watching closely as they know that if this coup succeeds, then there would not be much left for them to do in the world.

No Time To Die has been written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Cary Joji Fukunaga, and Phoebe Waller-bridge, based on a story by Purvis, Wade, and Fukunaga.

With Phoebe Waller-Bridge part of the No Time To Die writing team, we’re hoping for a sparky Fleabag-inspired script this time around.

“There’s something about James Bond that always intrigued me in a similar way that Villanelle did,” the Killing Eve writer told The Hollywood Reporter. “They live a fantasy! But it’s a life none of us would ever want if we’re honest. We don’t want to put a bullet in someone’s head to sleep with people and have martinis. It’s a kind of fantasy nightmare.”

Alongside Malek are a host of famous names. Ana de Armas will play an enigmatic gun-toting character named Paloma, while Captain Marvel’s breakout star Lashana Lynch has joined as Nomi, who will reportedly get the code name 007 after Bond retires.

Synopsis:

The movie will be the shortest of all the Bond films, at 120 minutes. The film’s opening scene has a tantalizing glimpse of Mr. White (Jesper Christensen). Is this the last James bond film?

There has been no official statement confirming whether ‘No Time To Die’ will be Craig’s final turn as 00 agent James Bond in the franchise. However, rumours have circulated about his potential retirement for some time now. With new cast members being introduced to play key roles in future films (such as Lashana Lynch), it would seem likely he won’t continue much longer due to health reasons.
