Season 8 of Alone is coming to theatres in just a few months! The eighth season will be the final one for Alone, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be as exciting as the previous seasons. If you’re wondering when Alone Season 8 will premiere and what we can expect from this season, then read on for all your questions answered.
Alone Season 8 Release Date:
‘Alone season 7 landed on June 11, 2020, on History, with the last episode airing on August 20, 2020. The seventh season consists of 11 episodes which have a running time of 60-90 minutes each.
Assuming that the show already began filming in 2020, we may get a new season of the survival series in the summer of 2021 since seasons 4-7 were released in June. Normally, the seasons are shot in fall and early winter, and a few months are required for screening and editing. If the show is currently in its post-production phase, we can expect ‘Alone’ season 8 to release sometime in mid to late 2021.
Expected Release Date: 3rd June 2021.
What Cast Members Will Be Returning?
As we know, Season Nine has been confirmed, so all cast members from Season Eight should return, including Cheyne Lemke, who plays Samuel Kaluza Jr., and Alexander Ludwig, who plays Alexi Koganovskiy. It’s unclear whether any other characters are dead after last season as this information hasn’t been made public.”
Is Alone Season 8 worth watching?
This is a tough question to answer without spoiling the season for those who haven’t watched it yet. However, if you have been patiently waiting for Alone Season Eight and are still undecided on whether or not to watch this instalment, then I would recommend that you do so as Sam’s journey over the past seven seasons has been captivating and suspenseful.
What can we expect from Alone Season Eight?
We know very little; about what will happen in Alone Season Eight, other than it may be set near Vancouver Island; during winter, which means there will likely be more action-packed scenes; involving the harsh conditions; of these unforgiving snowstorms. It is rumoured; that all cast members; will return with some new faces; joining them. But no one knows the full list; of who is returning or if there will be new cast members; at all.
We do know that Alone Season Eight; will have a similar format; to previous seasons, with ten episodes and each episode lasting for an hour, so it’s safe to say we can expect lots more compelling moments; captured on film. But also probably some heart-wrenching tragedies as well.
Who can watch Alone Season 8?
Anyone who has ever felt the loneliness of being away from their loved ones can watch Alone Season Eight. It is a show that uncovers what life feels like when you are alone and all by yourself in the cold, harsh reality of it. People find themselves feeling more vulnerable than they would’ve imagined, and those without friends or family turn to feel even worse off, but this series also displays how some have managed to triumph over hardship with nothing else holding them up to other than sheer determination.
Reviews and Ratings for the previous seasons of the show:
Season One: Alone Season one premiered on September 14, 2014. The season consisted of six episodes, and the reviews were much better than expected from many people who felt that it was a great show to watch when there is nothing else good on TV at night, or they just want something new to try out.
Season Two: Alone Season two premiered earlier this year in January 2019 with eight episodes total for the season so far, but only four have been released as of now, which some people feel might be because of their ratings being lower than before, like last time around since there are more moments where you can’t help feeling sorry for the participants while others enjoy watching them struggle through their times alone in nature without any outside influences interfering with them. Ultimately it’s up to the viewer what they would rather watch, but it seems that many people are on this season of Alone.
You can expect a mix of survival tasks, mental challenges, physical activities like hiking or kayaking, as well as some more dramatic moments where you have to wonder if anyone will make it out alive or at least unscathed mentally. In short, those who enjoyed watching the show before should know they can still look forward to something new coming soon.
