Obi-Wan Kenobi : Plot , Twist , Suspense , Action and everything you must know .

Obi-Wan Kenobi has been a favorite with audiences of the Star Wars films since his first appearance in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope in 1977. In those days, he was portrayed as a cautious man who could also be playful and outspoken. He’s responsible for many of the events that took place when Luke Skywalker was growing up on Tatooine, including buying droids R2-D2 and C-3PO from Jawa traders and claiming them as his own to avoid Boba Fett, the bounty hunter who wanted to collect on an earlier bounty issued by Darth Vader.

What is the plot of the story ?

Obi-Wan Kenobi is a Jedi Master and the mentor of Anakin Skywalker. When Anakin was little, Obi-Wan took care of him on the planet Tatooine. After an attack from Tusken Raiders kills everyone in his family, Anakin becomes separated from Obi-Wan and his mother. Obi-Wan promises to return for Anakin, but doesn’t keep that promise until 10 years later. When he does return for Anakin, he finds that the boy has grown into a young man who wants to become a jedi just like him. He tells the boy that he would have to give up all emotional attachments to succeed as a jedi.

Who is in the cast ? What role did each character portray ?

The cast include Hayden Christensen , Ewan McGregor , Moses Ingram , Alec Guinness. Hayden Christensen plays the young Obi-Wan Kenobi who has recently become a Jedi and is on his first mission. His mentor is an older Obi Wan Kenobi played by Ewan McGregor who, as an older man, has survived the fall of the Republic and the start of The Empire. Alec Guinness also plays Obi Wan in some scenes but, like Emperor Palpatine, he is a younger man seen only in flashbacks. Ironically, one of these flashbacks is a scene where he trains Anakin Skywalker who would eventually become Darth Vader – Palpatine’s apprentice.

What are the difficulties they face ?

Obi-Wan confronts many difficulties as a jedi. After Anakin and Padme are secretly wed, Obi-Wan takes Anakin but fails to convince him to return with him. He finds out that Anakin has turned to the dark side and become Darth Vader. Obi-Wan later sends Luke Skywalker, the son of Leia and Anakin, to the planet of Tatooine in hopes of keeping him safe from Vader who will be looking for his son.

Who is the antagonist ? What are its motives ?

The antagonist of this story is Anakin Skywalker. Anakin turned to the dark side because he wanted respect and power. His motives were to help his wife Padme Amidala, who was the senator of the planet Naboo and a member of a group called the Rebels. The Rebels were opposed to the Empire but they did not have much support in this time period.

What are the epic scenes ?

There are many epic scenes in this story. One traumatic scene is when Obi-Wan tells Anakin that all attachments to his wife will have to be placed aside, including their unborn child. Later, their child dies and Obi-Wan tells him the truth about how she died. In another scene, when Anakin is a Jedi who just saved his master from a group of black armored soldiers, his master comments on how strong the dark side has made him while he has become something else altogether.

Who is the most loved character ?

Although the main character is Anakin Skywalker, he wasn’t the most loved character in this story. That would be Qui-Gon Jinn, the mentor of Obi-Wan. He is the one who tells Obi-Wan that he will have to train Anakin as a jedi not just as his son. He is also likeable because he often talks to Obi-Wan and encourages him during his training of Anakin Skywalker. The other reason that people liked Qui-Gon Jinn is that he died by being turned into a cyborg by Vader where he was tossed over two buildings and impaled with a metal hand on a stick.

Would you recommend watching this ?

Obi-Wan Kenobi is a great story. If it were not for this story, I would not have liked Star Wars as much as I did when I was a child. The special effects and the characters are just as amazing today as they were back then. Thanks for reading !
