In 2001, the body of novelist Michael Peterson’s wife was found at their home. She had died from beaten with a weapon .  And he became suspect in what would become known as murder investigation but no charges were filed because there wasn’t enough evidence to arrest him or rule out suicide-which seems like much more likely option when you think about how angry people get after losing loved ones!
