Ragnarok: All set to get its official release this coming November.

Norse mythology states that Ragnarök, or the “end of the gods,” will happen at some point in time. This is not a far-off, vague concept. It has been predicted to happen sometime within our lifetimes. The idea of this apocalypse is often dismissed as a mere fairy tale, but there are many evidence that it could be true and inevitable. Ancient Norse texts claim that Ragnarök will be preceded by three harsh winters and violent thunderstorms .

What is the plot of the story?

Ragnarok begins when the great winter called Fimbulvinter begins. During this destructive time all human life is extinguished and the world is plunged into darkness for three long winters. In between these winters, there are two summers in which no crops can grow. This will be followed by three normal winters, after which Asgard will be destroyed by a great battle between the gods and their enemies. The Norse mythology goes on to say that another hostile race will succeed in destroying mankind after the gods have perished, causing a new beginning to take place.

Who is in the cast ? What role did each character portray ?

The cast include Theresa Frostad Eggesbo , David Stakston , Hugh Ashurst and Thorbjørn
Heyerdahl . Theresa is a local girl married to Eggesbo who lives in the town of Tonsberg. She became very upset by the news about the harsh winter and thunderstorms and thought it would be a good idea to persuade her husband to do something about it. Eggesbo was very reluctant at first but was ultimately convinced after Theresa had shown him an old newspaper article written by Heyerdahl seven years ago. In that article, Heyerdahl claimed that he could control the weather with stones from his native land.

What are the difficulties they face ?

A really big problem was that they had no idea where to find Heyerdahl. It was only when Ashurst, who had met Heyerdahl before, got a call from the town of Haugesund that they found out where he was. Although he had never been formally appointed as a weatherman, Ashurst reluctantly went along to ask for his help in order to avoid a catastrophe. In the end, it was Heyerdahl who saved the day. He flew to Tonsberg in his helicopter and was able to calm down the storm with a magic stone from his native land.

Who is the antagonist ? What are its motives ?

The antagonist was Frostad . He thought the weather forecast was a fake and decided to stop Heyerdahl from using his magic stone on the storm. When he saw Heyerdahl heading towards his house, he started shooting at him. Fortunately, no one was hurt before Heyerdahl was able to escape with the stone in his helicopter.

What are the epic scenes ?

The epic scenes are the flight to Haugesund in search of Heyerdahl and the battle between the townspeople and Frostad. The journey to Haugesund took a very long time, especially because they were stuck in traffic on the motorway. They had originally planned to go by car, but Eggesbo brought his trailer along just in case it took them longer than expected.

Who is the most loved character ?

The most loved character is Heyerdahl because he saved the town from a potential catastrophe. The townspeople also show a lot of respect for him because he used a magic stone from his native country to calm the blizzard.

I would recommend watching this because it is an interesting story with a passionate, action-packed and surprising ending. The characters in the movie are very likable and you can imagine yourself becoming friends with them. Thanks for reading !
