DaVine Joy Randolph portrayed the role of Bri, a 16-year-old girl who wants to be one of the greatest rappers of all time .Mike Epps portrayed Forest, Bri’s Uncle who helps Bri make it to the top. Forest was a funny character and always willing to help Bri out no matter what he had to do. Ice T portrayed his classic character Mr. Magic , Bri’s uncle and a music jock that tells Bri she is not good enough for the world of rap music until he becomes an inspiration for her after he packs up his bags and leaves town.
