A world of extraordinary beauty and terror begins crumbling at the seams almost as soon as Scarlett MacKinnon wakes up. But things really begin to fall apart when Scarlett realizes that it’s not just her life that’s disintegrating – so is everyone else’s.

What is the plot of the story ?

The Story follows Scarlett, a girl who wakes up in a strange and deadly new world, but discovers she has the ability to tap into powers beyond her imagination. She must travel through the alternate reality to find her father and try to find a way back home, but what she discovers along the way is that there is more to this world then meets the eye…

Who is in the cast ? What role did each character portray ?

The cast include Michelle Yeoh , Stephanie Hsu , Ke Huy Quan , Richard Lee , Tony Hoyng , Anson Chan , Benny Ng and Wang Yunseok . Stephanie Hsu’s character is a journalist who picks up on the story, Tony Hoya has a main role as an ex-military turned merchant. Richard Lee’s character was a trainer of the Guild training and Anson Chan’s character is the leader of the Thieves’ Guild. Wang Yun-seok plays Sam, a bad guy with an eye for Scarlett, which he had pledged to protect her from. Ke Hu-Quan held down the fort at Scarlett’s school while also taking care of his other children.

What are the difficulties they faced ?

Some of the challenges they faced was dealing with the two main action scenes which were filmed in a quarry, Michelle Yeoh was supposed to do a wire jump. She made three attempts, but could not land successfully on her feet on the fourth and she injured her back. The director decided she would land on all fours in order to protect her back, so they had to do it again but with no safety mats. The themes in the story are: father daughter relationship, survival and the importance of life and family. Scarlett learns that she has power of telekinesis and later finds out more about her ability to manipulate energy.

Who is the antagonist ? What are its motives ?

The antagonist is the character of Sam, he is a villain who wants to get into the prison where Scarlett’s father is held. He attempts to bring Scarlett and her father together, but instead he brings her to this alternate world. The plot is so massive that we cannot post it here, but one of the plot forces has a conflict with Scarlett’s father and someone from Scarlett’s past.

What are the epic scenes ?

The epic scenes include a battle between Scarlett and Sam, they are fighting in the underground prison, a fight at a military base and Scarlett fighting against hundreds of soldiers. The battle at the military base is very high-speed and involves Scarlett jumping from building to building while shooting her gun. The most loved character is Sam, he is a bad guy who is determined to protect Scarlett, even if it means betraying his own people. He loves Scarlett more than his own life and would do anything to protect her.

What is the climax like ?

The climax is when Scarlett finally finds a way to come home. She jumps through the portal with her dad, but instead of going into the portal she lands on her school campus and it begins to disintegrate. The Agents are trying to kill her so her father pushes her back into the portal just in time for it to close…
