Crimes of the Future : Film finally releases three Teaser videos ahead of their Cannes Premiere .

The world of 2022 is uniquely terrifying.  Meanwhile, a mysterious group tries to use Saul’s notoriety to shed light on the next phase of human evolution. Saul Tenser is the world’s most famous performance artist.  And celebrity is the symbol of the human race during this dangerous period. One night, he wakes up with a new face .  And his memory lost. He’s now a new man, known by his stage name of Eriksson. The real meaning of his strange appearance will be revealed at last.

What is the plot of the story ?

The plot follows a group of scientists, journalists .  And artists who are concerned with how the metamorphosis of the human body will affect society. Saul Tenser is a performance artist  . Who transforms his body with synthetic implants in order to address issues such as the destruction of the environment. One day, he is contacted by an organization known as Blue Hand. Convinced that he may be proof that humanity will soon create a new species . Blue Hand wants him to do a series of performances  .That will showcase his transformations. At first, Saul is hesitant yet interested in showcasing his art. Meanwhile, Blue Hand’s motives are not clear at first .  As they recruit other humans  who also  have undergone physical transformation for unknown reasons.

Who is in the cast ? What role did each character portray ?

The cast include Kristen Stewart , Lea Seydoux , Dominic Cooper ,Toby Jones , Jeremy Davies , Daniela Anlauf , Matt Rippy. Each character is assigned a specific role . Stewart is featured as Saul’s fiancée, Seydoux is Blue Hand’s head scientist .Cooper is the organization’s director and liaison, Jones plays the doctor who creates Saul’s implants and Davies plays his assistant. Rippy portrays a news reporter who intends to investigate Blue Hand. Anlauf portrays a fellow performance artist hired by Cooper to audition for Blue Hand alongside Saul.

What are the difficulties they face in the film ?

Each group faces its own set of difficulties . The scientists must unravel the mysteries of why they have been chosen and what they will be asked to do . The journalists must try to obtain access to Blue Hand . while the artists must master contact lenses that allow them to see through Saul’s transformation so they can assist in his performance. Saul has strong feelings towards Blue Hand for offering him a chance at fame. He is willing to perform for this mysterious organization . That he believes could lead him into becoming a real star. Although, not much detail is given on their background information  . As many of their goals are kept secret.

Who is the antagonist ? What are its motives ?

The antagonists in the film are: Blue Hand, a group of scientists and artists .  Who believe that humans will soon evolve into a new species. The journalists and artists must uncover their false motives  . Before they are forever lost to the shadows. As for the antagonist, Blue Hand is a clandestine organization  . Committed to making contact with humans genetically qualified for some future purpose. Blue Hand believes that by examining the metamorphosis of Saul Tenser and  also his transformation . They will be able to understand what it means to be human in an artificial world. Many of the creatures that populate this world have undergone similar mutations . But their motives are not clear and are only revealed as Blue Hand’s reach out to other cases built upon common traits found among all these beings.

What are the epic scenes ?

Although the film does not provide many specific details .  It is implied that Saul’s transformation from a man to a female . Is an example of what lies ahead for the human species. In an effort to understand him . Blue Hand and its scientists begin to study him and other organisms similar to his in order to understand how homeostasis can be modified for the future. There are many scenes which feature cyborgization   . A  process in which robotic implants are placed into the body. In one of these scenes, Saul’s assistant performs surgery on him in order to implant synthetic implants into his body.

Would you recommend watching this ?

Although this film series covers some serious issues . It tends to focus on certain elements instead of developing a clear and compelling storyline. The film’s plot is ambitious . But the story lacks connection between main characters. Thanks for reading !
