The story of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre is about a group of friends. They meet at a carnival in Austin, Texas. They are attacked by Leatherface and his family on their way home from work one night. When they stop to get gas. The group gets lost in the woods. But eventually finds safety with some help from an old man named Hoyt.

What role did each character portray?
Nell Hudson played the role of Sally Hardesty in the film. She was a teenager who lived with her family at their farmhouse outside Houston, Texas and worked as an employee for a grocery store nearby where most of them met during work hours; she became friends with Jerry (played by Matthew McConaughey) while they were working at the store. Her brother, Franklin (played by Geoffrey Lewis), was killed by Leatherface and her other brother, Harrison (played by Jim Siedow) was captured and presumably killed by him off-screen as well.

The most challenging part of this movie was when the van breaks down and they are stuck on an old farm, which is where Leatherface lives with his family. They find out that it’s not just any family but one full of murderous cannibals who will stop at nothing to get their next meal. That is why there were a lot of challenges that the group faced while trying to survive.

The group does their best to try and escape but Leatherface is always one step ahead of them. They were able to find a few weapons throughout the movie but it wasn’t enough to take down this madman. One of the most iconic scenes from this movie is when Sally tries to make a run for it and Leatherface catches her with his chainsaw.
