Julie and The Phantoms Season 2: Everything We Know

On Sept. 25, 2021, we were hoping to learn more about Julie and the Phantoms season 2 at TUDUM. Netflix has revealed a number of show and movie release dates, renewals, and other news in recent weeks.

The third season of Julie and the Phantoms debuted in September 2020, debuting to rave reviews. With its outstanding stories, catchy music, and well-written characters, it quickly became a fan favorite.

This series, which has an 8.4 out of 10 rating on IMDb and a 93 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, is remarkable and will undoubtedly bring the family together, both kids and adults alike. Despite all of its incredible accomplishments, a second season has yet to be confirmed, and you’re undoubtedly wondering why.

Julie and The Phantoms Season 2 Renewal Status:

The first season of Julie and the Phantoms has only one episode. There are nine episodes in the first season, each less than forty minutes long.

We’re still waiting for the second season of Julie and the Phantoms to be renewed, which is pretty surprising since it’s been more than a year since the first season of Julie and the Phantoms was released on Netflix.

As you may have guessed, we were hoping to learn whether or not Julie and the Phantoms season 2 will be released on TUDUM, but Netflix didn’t provide anything about the future season at that time.

The latest news about Julie and the Phantoms’ second season came in August 2021. Showrunner Ken Ortega revealed on Instagram that they were hard at work to return.

“We are doing everything we can with our Netflix partners to return,” Ortega stated in an interview with HITC. “Please keep believing in us. We rely on your support!”

Filming Updates:

The second season is expected to be released on Netflix, according to What’s On Netflix. Development has started for the sequel, but this has yet to be verified by the streaming site. We’ll hopefully discover that production on Julie and the Phantoms season 2 is already underway.

Julie and the Phantoms Season 2 Release Date Details:

At this time, it is expected that Netflix will release Julie and the Phantoms season 2 in the summer or fall of 2022. Obviously, there’s a lot more to come before that can happen, but we’re hoping everything goes well.

Because Netflix releases new seasons on a yearly basis, we must usually wait one year after production has begun before the new season becomes available. Now, Netflix has sped things up in 2021, but we’re still seeing long delays between production and release on Netflix.

For the time being, Netflix is the current home for next season. We are not giving up hope on this series just yet.
