In June, Miller, Clemons, Keaton, and Calle filmed scenes at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London as well as other central city locations made to look like Central City. Additional filming was scheduled for later that month in Edinburgh and Glasgow, doubling as Gotham City for flashback scenes with Affleck and Keaton.
Filming of “The Flash” continues in the Glasgow area. The set construction was underway at Ingram Street, George Square (where aerial views show a large green screen), and Cochrane Street; filming involved several vehicles.
Later, it is reported that filming with the Batmobile had moved to Ingraz square, where black-clad extras were spotted scampering around the sloped amphitheater on all fours while director David Nutter supervised from his camera position.
The filming on Renfield Street was halted after a motorcycle following the Batcycle collided with it near West George Street. Paul Machliss, the editor of the film, joins John “DJ” Desjardin as a visual supervisor for the film; both previously held the same post on several DCEU films.
