Red Notice More Details:

With such lofty productions as Red Notice, producer Hiram Garcia suggests that Netflix original movies have become nearly just as big a theatrical releases.

The streamer has released hits like Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead and Chris Hemsworth starring Extraction, thus cementing itself as one of the entertainment industry’s biggest players.

Red Notice, a new mystery thriller starring Gal Gadot and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, has been given an October release date. The movie was shot amid the coronavirus pandemic last year and filmed before Netflix confirmed its fall debut in July.

Speaking to Collider, the president of Johnson’s Seven Bucks Production and producer on Red Notice hyped up the movie by describing it as “such a fun film.” He went on to praise Netflix for being an amazing partner in making this possible, and teased all the excitement still ahead.

It’s impressive that Red Notice is one of Netflix’s most expensive productions, especially considering the change in filming circumstances. Production started before shutdowns, but it too was eventually put on hold like all Netflix projects.

The cast and crew were forced to remain sequestered for months before resuming work, with Reynolds and Johnson both speaking highly about the crew’s hard work. And based on Garcia’s comment, it sounds like their work paid off.

Audiences will catch a glimpse of this effort when Red Notice arrives in November. So far, little has been seen of the movie save for some images shared by the stars and some footage that debuted exclusively on television with the Olympics.

The Red Notice movie is Netflix’s biggest film yet, and its prospects for sequels are an exciting prospect.
