He stumbles upon this “Shining Girl” named Kirby Mizrachi after she survives; being stabbed thirteen times. The story then follows his journey of terror; through eight decades up until now where he finally revisits those same murders; that have haunted so many lives before hers!

Fans are expecting the potential storyline to be very similar to its original counterpart but it will likely be set in another city or state due to the timeline. The central location for the series has not yet been announced, but it could be based in Chicago where The Shining Girls takes place, or even Detroit which is where Hill was raised and his father killed himself when he was a child.

Shining continues to investigate while also confronting another serial killer who’s terrorizing young girls on the Southside of Chicago as well. The show will center around two different killers with one being more supernatural than the other!
