Michaela Coel has been cast in the upcoming “Black Panther” sequel, Michaela joins Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong’o who are reprising their roles. Michaela is known for portraying the character of Abbi on Michaela Coel’s TV series “Chewing Gum.” Michaela will join Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, and Florence Kasumba as returning cast members from the original film. With Michaela joining the Black Panther 2 crew, it seems like big changes are coming to Wakanda!

The Black Panther is back again in the anticipated sequel smash hit “Black Panther.” Michaela Coel joins Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, and Danai Gurira among others for this highly-anticipated superhero film set in modern-day Wakanda.
The plot of this exciting new installment has been kept tightly under wraps; so far. But we do know that after T’Challa lost his father King T’Chaka at Thanos’s hands; he returns home as not only a king but also an Avenger; who must fight against what appears to be a mass uprising; incited by the deadly Erik Killmonger.

The sequel to Michael B. Jordan’s “Black Panther” is going ahead, with Michaela Coel joining the cast. The movie sequel was renewed in February 2018 (basically the creators wanted that they should make a Black Panther 2) after the enormous success of the original Black Panther movie.
However, these plans were delayed with the ongoing MCU projects (movies as well as series) and then the sudden demise of the lead actor aka Chadwick Boseman.
