Navot Papushado, the director of Gunpowder Milkshake and the producer behind “The Big Lebowski” remake, has delivered a hilarious comedy about one woman’s quest for revenge against her cheating husband.
Gunpowder Milkshake is a story about Scarlet, who finds out her husband was cheating on her with his secretary. Navot Papushado brings to life the hilarious and crazy adventure of one woman’s quest for revenge against her now ex-husband in this action comedy film! Navot wanted us to know that it could happen because he had been cheated on before too.

The sequel to Navot Papushado’s hilarious comedy about one woman’s quest for revenge against her cheating husband, “Gunpowder Milkshake,” is in the works. He has been working on a script and it will be finalized soon!

Navot also told us that he found his own favorite moment of all time when Scarlet finds out that her ex-husband had cheated on her with his secretary: It was really funny because she comes home from work, sees him at the house…she asks if they can talk privately; so then we go into this dream sequence–and he says ‘yes but not before saying like these things and getting off on what he did with the other girl (laughs). That’s the best moment in my opinion. Navot also shared that he will be working on a script for Gunpowder Milkshake 2 and it should go to production soon!
About the director Navot Papushado
Navot has been hard at work, penning the sequel to his 2016 comedy film Gunpowder Milkshake. Navot told us, “The original idea was I wanted it to be an old school black man’s revenge movie mixed with Tarantino violence. But now what I want is just like Pulp Fiction or Kill Bill.
Gunpowder Milkshake Plot Summary
Gunpowder Milkshake is a story about the aftermath of Iran’s revolution. And how it affected Navot Papushado, who was only 11 years old; when he arrived in America. Navot reminisces; on his life during this time through an interview; with Marziyeh Amirasvand. He recounts moving to California at age 12 where his father took him out for lunch one day because he wanted Navot to have some “American” food which led them all the way up into Napa Valley wine country that housed many restaurants serving French cuisine and later moved with his family back to Tehran where they lived in very close proximity to Khomeini as well as other Iranian politicians like Rafsanjani, Khamenei, Taheri, Navab Safavi, and others.

He continues to recount his experience with Khomeini during the time by stating that he would see him often as well as other people like Ayatollah Behjat (a famous Iranian religious scholar) who Navot would give lectures about astronomy for a short time before attending school at age 13 where Navot was one of only two Jewish students in attendance alongside an Armenian boy named Garo. Navot also recounts how after four months had passed since arriving back from America Suleyman Shahriari came up to Navot’s father on behalf of the government officials and said “Mr. Papushado I am sorry but your son cannot continue going to this school”.
