Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has just teased some updates about Marvel’s “Black Panther 2”!

“There are always ideas in the works,” Kevin said. “We have nothing specific to reveal, but we’re excited by the number of people who want more.” Kevin continued to tease that there will be a lot of news coming soon for all fans!

About the movie “Black Panther”

Black Panther is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it will be released in theaters in 2022. The movie’s development began in 2021, with Kevin Feige announcing plans for a Black Panther film to enter production after End Game. A screenplay was penned from 2019-2020 before being reviewed again in 2021. Filming began at Atlanta Film Studio on January 25th this year!

It may seem like a long time to wait. But Kevin mentioned; that he was excited about the number of people who want more! With so many exciting things in store you can bet your bottom dollar we will see Black Panther soon enough… well maybe not too soon as Kevin and Marvel Studios are known for taking their time with upcoming films!

Kevin Feige Updates on Black Panther 2

Kevin Feige teases updates about Marvel’s “Black Panther” sequel! President of Marvel Studios and Producer on the first Black Panther movie, has teased that there may be some news coming soon. Kevin told EW: “I think there’s been enough time to have fun with it and tease it a little bit. I could see us pulling the curtain back on that movie before too long.” Kevin also talked about who might be returning for Black Panther’s sequel: “There are so many of those supporting characters [from the first film]…We love all of them, we would never want to pick just one or two because they each bring something exciting.”

Kevin revealed some details about what Marvel has planned in general over the next few years as well! Kevin told EW: If you had asked me five years ago if this was possible – not just ‘Black Panthers’ but more movies like ‘Thor,’ ‘Captain America,’ and now, frankly, ‘Spider-Man’ – I would have said, ‘No.’ It’s a testament to Kevin the team at Marvel Studios, our crew here in Atlanta. We’re diligent about trying new things and being innovative.

Black Panther 2 Potential Storyline

Kevin added that he’s excited to explore what Wakanda could look like as it has not yet been seen in any other Marvel films.

A lot of fans have also speculated that Shuri or T’Challa may be part of the film because they are both still alive after Infinity War! Kevin didn’t say anything specific but did confirm there will be no Avengers involvement.

The end goal would ideally be to build the Marvel Universe and make Kevin Feige proud.

Cast and Characters Updates for “Black Panther 2”

Unfortunately, as we are all aware that Chadwick Boseman has left us all in grief and won’t be a part of Black Panther anymore or any other movie. And it’s been a very hiking question that who will play Black Panther.

  • Letitia Wright as Shuri
  • Winston Duke as M’Baku
  • Andy Serkis  as Klaw/Klaue

  • Forest Whitaker as Zuri

Kevin Feige also confirmed that Andy Serkis will be back! We are all excited for his return to the Marvel Universe and Black Panther is not going anywhere without him, Kevin revealed.

Will “Black Panther 2” be worth watching?

Yes, Kevin Feige confirmed that there will be a “Black Panther” sequel. And the marvel movie is surely worth watching after the success of the first installment of Black Panther.
