Netflix’s “The Witcher” is a television series adapted from the best-selling book series of the same name by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. Sophie Brown has been cast in the role of Ciri, the daughter of Geralt and Yennefer. She will be one of four young female leads alongside Freya Allan as Princess Renfro, Anya Chalotra as Queen Calanthe, and Jodhi May as Fringilla Karnstein. Sophie Brown cast as young Ciri (Played by another actress) – Netflix’s The Witcher

Netflix announced Sophie Brown as the lead for its upcoming series, The Witcher. Sophie is a British actress with credits including “The Little Drummer Girl” and “Da Vinci’s Demons.” She will play Ciri who was previously portrayed by Naomi Watts in Sapkowski’s books and Freya Allan on TV screens. Sophie also starred in Patrick Rothfuss’ adaptation of his book ‘The Name of the Wind’. Netflix has not yet released an air date for season one but it is expected to be late 2021 or early 2022.
