Loki Star Owen Wilson reacts to Fourth Episode’s twists

Loki’s latest episode “The Nexus Event” delivered a series of game-changing twists not least for Owen Wilson’s character Agent Mobius – and the rest of the TVA, for that matter.

Following the shocking revelation that the Time Keepers did not create the Time Variance Authority, and that its employees are all memory-less variants, Owen Wilson has shared his reaction to some of the Disney+ series’ biggest bombshells so far.

After both the TVA and time-keeper are exposed as bogus, Mobius is hit with yet another betrayal as he discovers that his closest friend Judge Renslayer has been hiding the truth for the entire time.

Reflecting on his relationship with Gugu Mbatha- Raw’s character, which ends in tatters when Renslayer orders the pruning of both Loki and Mobius- Owen Wilson told Marvel.com that episode four’s events were quite shocking.

“The relationship between Mobius and Renslayer, it’s the way we might have with our boss. Or when we are back in school with the principal or someone in a position of authority and having to sort of try to charm them so we can pursue our projects.” That’s the dynamic relationship between Mobius and Renslayer, the actor told.

Loki Episode 4’s shocking character death explained

“The betrayal of Mobius by Renslayer is pretty shocking and it’s a little bit of a hall of mirrors within the whole series that people aren’t quite who they seem to be,” Owen continued.”

“In the same way that Loki, when he lands in this bizarre place called the TVA, Mobius will have sort of the same struggles. What is this organization? And is it worthy of his devotion?”
