Happy Death Day 3: The Exciting Third Installment of the Series
Halloween is a time of year where kids dress up as their favorite characters and go door-to-door asking for candy. It’s also the perfect holiday to watch some horror movies, which is why we are excited to announce that Happy Death Day 3: The Exciting Third Installment of the Series will be released soon enough!
Here’s everything you need to know about the Happy Death Day 3:
Jason Blum, the producer of Happy Death Day 1 and 2, has hinted at another installment of the series. The third film in the series is directed by Christopher Landon and written by Scott Lobdell.
Producer Jason Blum confirmed there is still potential for Happy Death Day 3. The first film of the series was released in 2017. While it is a slasher movie, it can also be classified as a black comedy.
Jessica (Tree) Rothe wakes up every day to find she’s been murdered and has to follow the same events, repeating the day until she can figure out who is killing her.
In 2019, the sequel to Happy Death Day was released. Happy Death Day 2U is both written and directed by Landon Tremblay. This sequel follows Tree who finds herself in another dimension through a wormhole created by Baum college student Liam Prescott that has been activated with an invention of his own during her escape from The Well Dressed Man’s facility.
Unsure which version should stay put on Earth while the other travels back home through the wormhole with Liam Prescott, Tree agrees to take turns between both worlds until they can find a way to send them both home safely.
However, when an unexpected tragedy strikes, Tree must figure out how she will get back before more people die–and if either world will be left untouched upon her return.
The title of the movie ‘Happy Death Day 2 U’ doesn’t really give away much about what most people would expect from a sequel.
Blumhouse studio head Jason Blum has acknowledged the possibility of a third installment in the horror film Happy Death Day franchise. The producer compliments those both in front and behind the camera who are interested in returning to make another film but cites declining box office numbers for part two as holding up any movement on it so far.
