“Peaky Blinders” Season 6 Director Reveals Characters Who Will Return

The new season of “Peaky Blinders” is almost here, and we’re still waiting for the official release date. However, the director has given some hints about who will be returning to Birmingham this time around. According to Tom Hardy’s Instagram account, he said that “the world can’t wait another minute.” It looks like Thomas Shelby (played by Cillian Murphy) and his family are back in town!

In Birmingham’s Brum News-Post article, it says that he also mentioned in passing that there would be some new additions to the show and hinted they might have something to do with America. This is exciting news for fans who want more of this gritty crime drama on their screens following its successful fifth series. The premiere date has yet to be announced, but we will keep you updated!

Charlie Strong Sr. aka Charlie Krankie (played by Brian Gleeson – season six only), Tommy’s eldest son from his first marriage to Linda Lizzi; also a soldier in World War I who was awarded the Croix de Guerre for bravery on the battlefields of France in 1918 and later returned to work as an engineer at Thomas’ factory manufacturing munitions during WWII. Arthur is not aware that he has another son from the marriage, but he does know that Linda Lizzi was pregnant when she died in 1921, and this is what Tommy tells Arthur Jr.

Emmeline May “Emmy” Krankie née Shelbys – Charlie Strong Sr.’s first wife and mother of his eldest son; also a former suffragette who gave up her life as an activist to marry him despite their differences over women’s rights and had two children with him before dying of tuberculosis in 1902 at age 25; Emmy is revealed to have been given away when she was just four months old after being born out-of-wedlock or abandoned for reasons unknown.

What can we expect from peaky blinders season 6?

Steven Knight revealed that series six would be out on Netflix this fall. There are many twists and turns, including Tommy Shelby Jr., who was impregnated by his stepmother Linda Lizzi when she found out he wasn’t actually her son. Fans can also expect more romance with Charlie Strong Sr.’s first wife Emmy Krankie and daughter-in-law May Makinson who have both returned from abroad since last year, as well as a possible love interest between Arthur Shelby Jr. and Charlotte Chatsworth played by Sophie Rundle
