Kun Fu Panda 4: Is the sequel officially confirmed?

The original three movies in the series were released back in 2008. The first sequel, Kung Fu Panda 2, was released in May of 2011 and became a huge success at the box office, grossing $665 million worldwide. It is now confirmed that there will be the fourth installment to this popular series!

It was a long-awaited sequel to the 2008 movie in which there is another panda who has been raised by wolves, and he’s not sure where his true home is. Voice actors from the first two movies have been confirmed to reprise their roles. There will be new characters, and it is set in China, as opposed to a fictional land like previous films. The release date for this sequel has yet to be announced, but we hope that it will come out soon!

Plot Summary

The Animation Studio confirmed on their blog that this would be a sequel rather than another installment in the series; however, they haven’t released any more information about it yet, so stay tuned for updates!

A release date for Kung Fu Panda 4 is yet to be revealed because the fourth movie installment hasn’t been officially confirmed. Hopefully, fans will be given an update on Kung Fu Panda 4 from DreamWorks at some point in 2021.
