Dave Season 2 Review: Hilarious and Incredibly Entertaining

Dave is back for his second season, and he’s funnier than ever! This show has been a staple of my TV watching for years now, and it never disappoints. Season 2 starts with Dave becoming an Uber driver to build up enough money to buy the house that he wants to live in with his girlfriend. There are also some hilarious guest stars on this season, including Tom Brady, Gordon Ramsay, Shaquille O’Neal, Steve Buscemi, and more!

Dave is one of my favorite shows to watch because it has comedy that doesn’t rely heavily on jokes or humor (although there’s plenty of that too!) The show is more character-driven, which makes it feel so much more real and relatable.

The season two premiere starts with Dave trying to buy his girlfriend the house of her dreams, but he doesn’t have enough money yet. He decides to become an Uber driver when a friend tells him about how easy the job can be.

The rest of the season follows Dave’s journey as a driver, which is full of humor and surprises.

Cast & Characters

Dave – Dave is the main protagonist of this show, and we see his life through his eyes. We’re introduced to him at a crossroads in his career as he struggles with how much money was left after paying off some bills that were due before going on tour. He moves back home and takes up an Uber driving gig to make ends meet until he can get enough money for something better.

Gina – Gina is one of Dave’s best friends who live across the street. She’s in a long-term relationship with Dave’s other best friend, Adam. Gina is an aspiring actress who has to balance her work as well as support Adam and their two kids when he needs help at home.

Adam – Dave’s main confidante for advice about his career decisions and life choices, Adam also balances being married to Gina and taking care of their two children on top of working full time as an architect

Josh – Josh is another one of Dave’s friends from college who lives nearby but they don’t see each other too often until after college when he starts dating Caroline (Dave’s girlfriend) while still seeing all three guys sometimes for drinks or just hanging out whenever possible.
