Moira was last seen being hanged by a mob on the steps of an execution site after saving June from certain death during a standoff at Canada Border Services Agency headquarters.

We can’t confirm whether or not this is true, but rumours suggest that Lena Headey might make a cameo appearance to play America’s first female president, Gilead-ordained Serena Joy Waterford. This would be based on her.

Season Five’s Plot Synopsis

In a word, the Season Five plot synopsis is not yet known. However, we can speculate; that season five; will see Offred and her fellow handmaids; take on Gilead. Once more in an epic battle for their freedom from its oppressive regime. The Handmaid’s Tale has been renewed for another two seasons, so there are sure to be plenty of twists; as viewers watch Offred fight against; injustice with what little power; she still maintains. In season four, too many things were left unresolved – such as June’s reunion with Hannah (Jordana Blake), who was sent away at age seven to live with Aunt Lydia and Uncle Joseph.

Season 4 finale

The season four finale introduced us to an “international coalition” that was assembled by Serena Joy Waterford (Yvonne Strahovski) while she was attending Gileadean meetings in Canada. We also saw some same-sex kissing which could have been a clue into how things will work after June Osborne’s daughter Hannah has taken over control of Gileadea from Fred Waterford (Joseph Fiennes). Season five finds June living with former commander Lawrence.
