Firefly Lane Season 2 Plot Synopsis:
The runaway season 2 finale left everyone on the edge of their seats, including the cast. Ben Lawson, who plays Johnny, gave his thoughts on what could happen next—if he survives the bombing.
The finale of Season 1 only added to the question as opposed to giving answers: What happened between Tully and Kate, is Johnny dead, are Tully and Max over for good?
If season 2 is greenlighted, it will focus on the following questions using Kristin Hannah’s Firefly Lane as a guide. Showrunner Maggie Friedman has revealed that some storylines stray from what’s in the book: One of the things we’ve done that are different, she told Entertainment Weekly, is that Whereas in the novel we start with Julie and befriends Finch. She was talking about how loyal they stayed to some parts of protagonist Allie’s story while creating their own twists for other characters.
