Expected spin-offs from lupin season 3:

We don’t know what form these might take yet, but given how prolific Monkey Punch was with his work (though he did suffer from diabetes, which contributed to some periods of creative droughts) and how it seems like this new series is going to be an ongoing thing, we can expect more than one spin-off project.

The Lupin III property has been running strong since 1969, and the show’s fanbase continues to grow with each season that airs on Japanese television – in fact, there was a bit of controversy when Part IV aired for not being as faithful to the original manga storyline as some fans would have liked (read: because they wanted Monkey Punch involved). The franchise will continue its legacy into 2018 with Season Three!
